This year we went to the tree farm with our friends, The Doughans, and Grammie Mary and Papa Chuck. Patrick and his buddy Jackson had a great time running through the trees and "cutting" down trees with their stick saws. Kimberly liked finding the little ends of pine branches on the ground and smashing dirt clods.

I can't wait until Benjamin is old enough to help pick out a tree and cut it down. Right now we just go to Home Depot for our tree, which isn't very exciting. Maybe next year, huh?
P.S. By the way, I love that last picture of your mantel.

That was such a fun day ... thanks for letting us tag along. It will be a very cherished memory for our family.
