Hume Lake Womens' Retreat

I love Hume Lake!!! I have lots of fond childhood memories of camping at the lake with my family and cousins. It is also where I was when I placed my trust in Jesus as my Savior 14 years ago at high school Winter camp. And, where Chuck accepted Him in college. Now, I also love it for their womens' retreat!
The food was awesome.

The fellowship was sweet.

The latest broom hockey videos were hilarious. :) Hume videos are somewhat of a tradition. They have evolved through the years and have gotten much better. The latest ones are music videos. Check them out here and here. The stage backdrop from this past year's youth camps was so cool. It was a giant library/study.

I got to hang out with my mom. We even stoppped off at Quilters' Paradise on the way up the hill and I found a couple yards of fabric to add to my stash. They may end up being a purse or part of a quilt. :)

The lake was beautiful. It is right between seasons there. The snow is melting off, but the lake is very low still. It's crazy to see just how shallow the lake really is. The weather could not have been better.

These boats were just sitting there needing to be photographed. :)
