Biking With Friends

Lately we have been going to the new Orcutt Community Park to play. There is a nice playground with rubber matting under it and a walk/bike path around the baseball and soccer fields. A couple weeks ago we went with our friends, Kristen and Isaac, to ride bikes. It was the first time Kimberly has gone for a bike ride with us on a bike we brought specifically for her to ride. She rode Patrick's favorite little bike and he rode his big bike with training wheels. She was so proud of herself. At one point, Patrick came back to help her go faster so she could catch up with him. It was precious seeing him help his little sister without any prompting to do so. (He has also recently started holding her hand and guiding her in parking lots or to show her something cool. Most of the time, she willing holds his hand and runs along trying to keep up with him.)
