The Miracle of Life

Today I thought I'd share Patrick's ultrasound pictures. It's so amazing to look back and see his development in the womb. Life really is a miracle.

I especially love the photos from the first two ultrasounds. The first one, Patrick was just a little speck with no heartbeat. The doctor couldn't tell us if the pregnancy was "viable". Just 4 days later when we returned from a camping trip to Yosemite, the second ultrasound was done. Patrick had grown so much! And, you could see his tiny little heart beating!
