We went to the Springville Apple Festival and Bike Race this weekend with my sister Amber and family. What a fun event. Chuck and Erik raced in the Sport class and Andrew, Madelyn, and Patrick all raced in the kids race. They all did a great job. Andrew took home the third place trophy for his class and everyone scored some really cool raffle prizes. Patrick got a Fisher Price pirate ship, a bike helmet and knee pads.

Of course, since it's an apple festival, you must eat a pre race apple.

Patrick was the youngest racer ever to compete in this race. I was surprised he didn't get overwhelmed being out there with all the big kids and their much bigger pedal bikes.
