Merry Christmas from the Smith Family

Top 10 events from 2008 (in no particular order):

10- We added a wall in our house to turn our family room into a master bedroom, built a pergola on the back patio, and tiled our kitchen and dining room floors.

9- We took family vacations to Hartland, Hume Lake, Santa Margarita, and Lake Tahoe.

8- Chuck rebuilt a Yamaha XT 225 motorcycle and has been enjoying riding it on the road and trail.

7- We made the big move to an SUV and are loving the extra space and now the lower gas prices.

6- Chuck received word that he passed the PE Exam in Fire Protection Engineering that he took last Fall.

5- Chuck and Patrick competed in the Springville Classic Bike Race during the Apple Festival. Patrick was the youngest rider ever to compete.

4- Chuck and Patrick took a couple camping trips together to Lake San Antonio and Dinkey Creek.

3- Chuck did a one-day hike to Half Dome and a couple of backpacking trips to Tuolomne Meadows and Big Sur.

2- I have enjoyed a year of being a stay at home mom, connecting with other moms in our area through Slo County Mommies, and coordinating the nursery and preschool for our church, The Harbor.

1- We welcomed our beautiful new daughter, Kimberly Jane, on July 29th. She is so very precious. A great baby all around.

Our year was full of blessings from God. We had some great times together and saw some beautiful places. We look forward to the new year to see what God has in store for our family.
